In the third quarter of 2024, the top air travel apps in Mexico showcased varying trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Aeromexico saw its weekly downloads fluctuate between 29K and 40K. The app experienced a peak in mid-July with 40K downloads, while the numbers gradually decreased towards the end of September to 29K. Active users for Aeromexico started at 75K in early July and showed a downward trend, closing the quarter at approximately 67K.

Viva Aerobus: Fly! demonstrated a consistent performance with weekly downloads ranging from 32K to 43K. Notably, downloads peaked at 43K in mid-July. The app maintained a robust user base, with active users starting at 131K in early July and ending at 131K by the end of September, showing a slight increase after a dip in August.

Volaris experienced moderate download activity, starting at 30K downloads and reaching up to 37K in mid-July. Active user numbers remained stable throughout the quarter, beginning at 82K and closing at 82K in September after a slight dip in August.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker recorded weekly downloads between 6K and 9K. The app saw a spike in downloads at the end of July with 9K. Despite some fluctuations, active users remained relatively stable, starting at 73K and ending at 68K. The app's weekly revenue fluctuated between $2.5K and $4K, with the highest revenue recorded in the last week of July.

American Airlines had a steady download rate, with weekly numbers mostly around 5K. Active users showed a slight decline from 20K in early July to 20K by the end of September, indicating a stable user engagement throughout the quarter.
